Miss Peaches

Miss Peaches

2009
Turner Creek
Savannah, GA

Miss Peaches was an abandoned shrimper on a bend of Turner Creek off Turner Rock and Wilmington Island in Savannah. This stretch of creek is a popular spot to abandon boats. Briefly home to an osprey's nest (which collapsed the rigging), nothing remains except the lower part of the hull, still visible except at the highest water in the same spot as this photograph.
