Tybee Island, GA
I heard on the radio one day that there was an upcoming "perigee moon", which was the month the full moon is closest to the Earth. And the moon would rise just before sunset which should produce a good opportunity for photographs. so I set out to Tybee Island that day and positioned myself on the beach. I got a few good shots in the dunes (see other shots in the gallery) and headed back to the parking lot at North Beach. i noticed this shot right before I got in to leave and this has turned out to be one of my favorites and fairly popular as well.
